Web design in Rhode Island
LaunchPad Collective designs and builds websites for businesses in Rhode Island, from Providence and Warwick to Cranston, Johnston and East Greenwich. We design each site backward from the booked call, so the pages, the contact form, your Google listing and what happens after someone clicks are built as one path, and a team we call Mission Control runs the project from the first sketch to launch.
A website can look fine and still lose people. The form emails an inbox nobody checks on Saturday. The Google listing still shows last year's hours. The page crawls on a phone in a parking lot. We fix that path first, then make the site look like you.
For businesses that have outgrown the site they started with.
Owners and managers whose business has outgrown the site they built themselves, or the one a vendor set up years ago that nobody has touched since. Law firms, dental and medical practices, home-service companies, restaurant and retail groups. New clients find you online first, and the site is where they decide whether to call.
If you need one page up by Friday, a template builder will serve you better and cost less. We're for the business that wants its site to bring in booked calls, and wants to see whether it does.
A site, and everything wired to it.
- 01
A site designed around the call
Every page answers what a new client asks before picking up the phone: what you do, for whom, where, and how to reach you. The call button and the consult request sit where a thumb can reach them.
- 02
A contact form that goes somewhere
Each submission is saved, sent to the person who answers it, and logged in your pipeline, so a lead never sits alone in an inbox. If you want follow-up emails, they're written in your voice and you approve them before they go live.
- 03
Your Google listing, fixed
We correct your Google Business Profile: categories, hours, service area, photos and description. Your name, address and phone match the website character for character, so every place you're listed tells the same story.
- 04
Built for the phone first
We design on a phone screen before a desktop one, compress the images and video, and test load times on a throttled mobile connection before launch.
- 05
Search basics, done properly
Clear page titles, a page for each service you sell, structured data that tells search engines and AI assistants who you are and where you work, and a sitemap submitted to Google Search Console.
- 06
Your brand on every page
The site uses your colors, logo, type and photographs. LaunchPad's look never carries over to a client's site.
How a website project runs.
- 01
Strategy session
Fifteen minutes, free. Tell us where new clients come from today and what a good month looks like. If a new site isn't the fix, we'll say so.
- 02
The path read
Before anything is designed, we follow a new client's path: the Google search, your listing, the site on a phone, the form or the call, and what happens next. You get a short written read of where people drop off.
- 03
Plan and design
Mission Control writes the page list and the plan, and you approve it. We design on the phone first and share drafts in one place where you comment and sign off.
- 04
Build and wiring
We build the site and connect the form, your Google listing and analytics. Before launch we send a test lead through the form ourselves and follow it all the way to the right inbox.
- 05
Launch, then the first weeks
The site goes live on your domain, the sitemap goes to Google, and we read the first weeks of search and form data with you. If you want, we keep running it month to month.

Vista Assessments
A six-page site for a bilingual school psychology practice in Rhode Island, on the practice's own domain and in its own brand. The For Districts page is built around one button: request a consultation. Behind the site sits an outreach engine and a portal where the owner approves every email.

Something Fishy
An aquarium company in Warwick kept its WordPress site. We built its page sections into a plugin and routed every lead form to a Trello card, a tagged email contact and an inbox, after finding a maintenance form that only emailed one inbox. An August performance pass took the Ready-Made page's mobile largest contentful paint from 17.3 seconds to 4.3 and 3.3 seconds across two runs (local Lighthouse with simulated throttling, August 19, 2026).

We're based in Johnston, so a site visit in Providence, Cranston, North Providence or Smithfield is a short drive, and Warwick, East Greenwich, Pawtucket and East Providence aren't much farther. Our clients so far include an aquarium company in Warwick and a school psychology practice that serves districts across Rhode Island and New England. Design and build happen remotely, so a business in Newport, Westerly or Woonsocket works with the same team. We just drive a little longer for the visit.
Frequently asked questions
Who builds websites for businesses in Rhode Island?
LaunchPad Collective, a Rhode Island company based in Johnston, designs and builds websites for businesses across the state, including Providence, Warwick, Cranston and East Greenwich. Each site is built around the path from a Google search to a booked call, with the contact form and the Google listing wired in, and a Mission Control team runs the project.
Can you fix our current website instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Something Fishy kept its WordPress site, and we built new page sections into it and fixed how its forms route leads. If the site you have would cost more to fix than to rebuild, we'll tell you that in the strategy session.
What happens when someone fills out the contact form?
The submission is saved, sent to the person who answers it, and added to your pipeline so it can be followed to a booked call. Before launch we send a test lead through the form and follow it all the way to the inbox.
Do you fix Google Business Profiles?
Yes. We correct the categories, hours, service area, photos and description, and make the name, address and phone match your website exactly. It's part of every site project, because the listing is often the first thing a new client sees.
How long does a website take?
It depends on the number of pages and what has to be wired in behind them. You get a date in the plan, after the strategy session and before any design starts.
How much does a website cost?
Every site is scoped in the strategy session and quoted before work begins, with each part listed so you can see what you're paying for. We don't publish a package price because a five-page site for a law firm and a site with online booking are different jobs.
Will our site look like LaunchPad's?
No. Your site uses your own colors, logo, type and photographs. Client work never borrows LaunchPad's look.
Start with the path from search to call.
Book a strategy session and tell us how new clients find you now, and where you think they get lost. You'll leave with a short list of what we'd fix first, whether or not we work together.
